PBF or Pizza Box Flyers - Page 1

This page is dedicated to the phenomenon known as PBF or "Pizza Box Flyers". Obviously the plane gets this name from the size and shape of the 'wing' which is a flat 24" X 24" piece of Coroplast (like plastic cardboard). However this page will be dedicated more on learning to fly the PBF, if you're looking for information on building a PBF, I strongly suggest you go to Dave McDonald's web page by clicking here or on the photo at right. This page features many photos, videos and suggestions made by Dave. Below you will find several video clips and photos with descriptions of what you'll see when you click on the photo or video link. I also want to point out that Dave McDonald makes flying a PBF appear to be MUCH easier than it actually is, so until you've practiced the several dozen flights it takes to get as good as Dave (if that's possible) don't try all of these tricks at home. Be sure to check out the wonderful article about PBF's in the October 2002 issue of R/C Report Magazine
