Zimmerman attempted to take aerial photos back in January 2003, some of those photos are on Aerial Photography Page 5. Due to radio problems we weren't able to start again in July of 2003, at which time we obtained more aerial digital videos from Zimmerman's Balsa USA Stick 40+. However, this time it was a bit more of a challenge as Zimmerman and John Dussold attempted to get aerial footage of Dussold's plane passing by Zimmerman's up in the air. This was challenging and rewarding as we were able to get some neat video of Dussold's Sig 4 Star 40 flying past the camera. Look closely at the thumbnail below and you can see the yellow wings of the 4 Star 40 as it passes by and down below you can see the pilots, vehicles and equipment on the Miller Flying Field;

Keep in mind that this camera is set to the widest angle available, so the planes are a lot closer than it appears in the photo. This pass was close enough to call it a day, hoping that we had captured something. As you watch the video look at the middle left as it crosses in front of your view.

To continue, the next video is a nice view of the Miller Flying Field, Binder Lake and other landmarks in the Apache Flats area at a fairly high altitude, just click on the thumbnail at the top of the right column to view the video.

The next video is looking east towards the Erhardt Farm House, the new construction and off in the distance you can see the water towers near the Capital Mall.

These videos were taken on a beautiful summer day on July 14, 2003. Some screen capture still photos are available in the left menu, click on the thumbnails to view larger versions of the photos.
