| One of the best, if not THE best Fun Fly we as JCRC attended all year. We were under the threat of light rain most of the day, but luckily it passed us by and allowed us to enjoy a nice, pleasant, lightly overcast day that didn't burn us to a crisp. The winds were non-existent or right down the runway. The guys in the Sedalia Club are always fun to fly with, the food was great and served up by a wonderful bunch of kids who seemed to be having a great time dishing out the food. There were a few items for sale and each of us took our turns flying and had a very successful day. We were entertained by one of the wildest and yet successful flights of an R/C lawnmower that I don't think any of us will forget. Another memorable moment or two was when Kent Imhoff first flew his Kadet Senorita and Shaun Zimmerman flew his Sig Rascal 110 for the first time, both very successfully. Rick Poire sort of stole-the-show with his 27% Air Wild Edge 540, it was loud, aerobatic and an awesome sight to watch. Other JCRC members who attended and also had a great time were Stacy Gillmore and Tom Gillmore who wowed the crowd with is 3D flying abilities with his U-Can-Do. Paul Pennington shredded up the air with his fleet of airplanes. We very much look forward to more flying time in Sedalia! | ||||||||||||
