The evening ended with the viewing of "Crasher 4" a DVD featuring the mistakes 'other' R/C pilots make.

On December 13th, 2005, several members of JCRC and their spouses had the pleasure of participating in the annual Christmas Party. This year the event was graciously hosted by Dr. Jim & Melba Crago in their beautiful residence.

It was obvious to all of us that many days of planning and preparation were needed to make this event possible. Everything was perfect from the Christmas Spirit shared among friends to the Holiday decorations that adorned the home. Even Jim's workshop was in pristine condition as the men went down to envy his fine collection of R/C crafts.

The food was not only delicious, but the layout was so beautiful that it should have been featured in a magazine! Perfectly cooked turkey, ham and some of the best ever 'Bacon-wrapped BBQ Smokies with brown sugar' were just a small part of all the delicacies offered. One of the favorite sweets were the 'snowballs' made from a mixture of chocolate Oreo cookies that were smothered in white chocolate. Other items that made us all wish we could just continue eating were stuffed mushrooms, spinach dip, hot cheese dips, cheese ball, sweet pickles, fudge, colored peppers, deviled eggs, assorted vegetables and on and on. Each item was thoughtfully labeled so that you knew what you were eating, a very nice detail. Just thinking about it again makes us wish we could go back right now!

After an hour or so of conversation among friends, the men went down to inspect the shop and enjoy R/C stories as well as talking about our recent on-line & swap meet conquests. Afterwards we all went back upstairs to enjoy R/C related videos as we watched "Crasher 4" and felt the pain of seeing how 'other' R/C pilots make mistakes and succumb to the laws of flight and physics.

This party won't be forgotten any time soon and to help us remember, we offer up these photographs of the festivities, provided by Jim Crago. Our sincerest thanks go out to the Crago's for hosting this year's unforgettable party.
