The Mid-Missouri Radio Control Association held it's
annual Fall event on Saturday, October 15. After reflecting on all of the
events that we've held or attended this year, we believe that this may be
the crowning event of the season. The weather couldn't have been better.
From morning until it was just too dark to fly, the little wind that
existed blew right down the runway out of the north. There wasn't a cloud
in the sky all day, simply wide-open blue skies and comfortable
temperatures. There were reportedly over 150 airplanes scattered across
the flightline. Mike Anderson of HobbyTown USA was on hand to sell his
goods, to show us some of the newest products in R/C hardware and he also
donated a very nice raffle prize that was ultimately won by Marty Bertels.
The members of MMRCA once again provided an outstanding meal for everyone
to enjoy made up of chili dogs, hamburgers and all the soda, side dishes
and desserts that you could eat. Many JCRC members made it up to the event
and it was great to be surrounded by friends. There are three pages of
