A very nice Wild Hare Edge 540 that looked
great in the air

We had no idea Troy Hamm had so many great
airplanes. A favorite from the show included this beautiful
Extra 330S
The plane rarely flew up-right, it was
always in some unique 3-D attitude

Troy Hamm hovering the airplane so close
we could nearly read every decal on the plane! Also

his nice airplanes, possibly his big Katana S

We enjoyed the company of the Rex family
and young Seth Peters. Brandon showed that he is an
incredible pilot with his Great Planes Big Stick, his J-3
Cub and he also has a new Matt Chapman CAP 580!
Brandon Rex was able to bring a total of
four airplanes to the event - good thing he's so skinny or
he wouldn't fit in the vehicle. He has done his GWS Slow
Stick in a "Dukes Of Hazard" color scheme.

The pilot of the giant J-3 Cub and (we
believe) his daughter. Dave McD helped out with getting the
engine running correctly

The big J-3 Cub comes in for a dead-stick
landing (one of several) and even though it ended up in the
tall grass there was no damage, just an exciting moment of
drama. Also pictured is an incredible electric-powered
profile YAK
This profile plane was expertly piloted
all day after recharging the batteries. Yes! It is electric,
but flew as like it was missile-powered
The same pilot of the electric YAK also
showed his talent piloting his 4-stroke powered profile
Katana

This little Sig Kadet was a wolf in
sheep's clothing. It was powered by a brushless electric
motor that made it do all kinds of stunts that you don't
normally see a Kadet do! A beautiful Ultimate heads out to
the runway.

The Ultimate lifting off the runway.
Beautiful covering. Pilot's doing what they do best -
talking! Plus Dave McDonald's BAD BOY

Dave McD was dragging the tail through the
grass when the plane unexpectedly landed! Oops! Only a
broken prop
