The Taylor, Missouri, Airshow to benefit MDA was held on Labor Day weekend 2003. There were 120+ pilots from all over with so many wonderful examples of R/C Airplanes. Lots of spectators came out to attend the event and donate money to the MDA. The event was held at the full-scale airport in Taylor, which is also the location of their Hobby Shop. A nice swap area was set up to buy used equipment. There were several gates set up and the flying was non-stop all day on Saturday, but only one mid-air collision occurred. Several members of JCRC attended the event which included a meal for the pilots, along with a band for entertainment after the flying ended for the day on Saturday. They even arranged for a fly-by of a full scale Cessna 180 and a twin-engine Commander. Our members reported great flying on Friday, but the weather put a huge damper on Sunday's flying. There are three pages of still images and one page of digital videos to enjoy. Click on the thumbnails to view the video clip.
