The Taylor, Missouri, Airshow to benefit MDA was held on Labor Day
weekend 2003. There were 120+ pilots from all over with so many
wonderful examples of R/C Airplanes. Lots of spectators came out to
attend the event and donate money to the MDA. The event was held at
the full-scale airport in Taylor, which is also the location of
their Hobby Shop. A nice swap area was set up to buy used equipment.
There were several gates set up and the flying was non-stop all day
Saturday,
but only one mid-air collision occurred. Several members of JCRC
attended the event which included a meal for the pilots, along with
a band for entertainment after the flying ended for the day on
Saturday. They
even arranged for a fly-by of a full scale Cessna 180 and a
twin-engine Commander. Our members reported great flying on Friday,
but the weather put a huge damper on Sunday's flying. There are three pages of still images and one
