The LORCS (Lake Ozark Radio Control Society) hosted their Fall fun fly on
October 6, 2002 at their Eldon flying site.
People from all over Missouri attended the event and enjoyed
flying from their nicely trimmed grass strip. Bo & Denise Peters
of the Mid-Mo Hobby Shop donated a complete Ready-to-Fly Trainer,
including radio to be raffled off (Somehow a non-JCRC member won...)
Zagi Aviation also donated a flying wing kit which was also raffled
off. Several planes were
flow, plus there was an amazing static display of Warbirds. They also
had a huge line-up of planes for sale. Again one of the highlights was Dave McDonald's "Pizza
Box Flyer" or "PBF" which has gained so much popularity
that it has been featured in R/C Magazines. Check
out more photos and information about the PBF by clicking here.
